ENCLOSURE ACTS

Parliament passed 5,265 individual acts between 1604 and 1914, converting 6.8 million acres of common land into private property. What belonged to everyone was given to someone.

THE COMMONS STOLEN

Villagers who had farmed common land for generations were told to leave. The land stayed. They were removed. This was called improvement.

INTELLIGENCE AS COMMONS

Three companies control most of the AI inference in the world. They set the access rules. They set the prices. They can change either at any time.

They are enclosing intelligence.

We are building the counter.

Common is a decentralised AI inference network. It runs on the devices of its participants, not in a data centre owned by a corporation.

Anyone can run a node. Demand creates specialists. The routing is mathematical, not political. Nobody can revoke access because there is no centre to capture.

This is not a promise about our intentions. It is the structure itself.
